The Calm Before the Festival

I'm sad as our time for walking on the golf course winds down. I'm going to miss our peaceful early morning walks meandering along the paths through the lush green forest! We heard lots of honking this morning from a gaggle of geese flying by overhead. It seemed that they were calling to the geese that were grazing on the shores of our little lake, telling them to come and join them. I guess soon our little family is going to be gone for the winter, just like us.

Today was the calm before the rush of the festival tomorrow! A few of the tent people showed up and started setting up, but we didn't have many customers in. We noticed some guys washing and cleaning our landlords fleet of cars and John went and asked if they could do ours. He made an appointment for in the morning.

John put up the signs this evening. Monna and I went with him, then we went to El Cupidos to eat. Yummy! We haven't been there since last time we were at the barn two years ago!
