We walked our two miles this morning, it was a lot warmer than it has been, yea! Nutrioso Creek is still running and we got to wondering today if the spillway at Nelson's Reservoir is where the water is coming from?

This afternoon we took a drive up to Nelson's Reservoir to check out the spillway and sure enough it's overflowing, so that's the source of the water in Nutrioso Creek.

The spillway is running over, snow must be melting and filling
the lake. |

The path we took down the slippery slope to get on the other
side of the fence to see the spillway better was so muddy!
I was about 2 inches taller when we got back! |
