Bowling

On dirty jobs last night a lady was showing Mike how to bowl, so we started up the wii this morning to try it out.  She was telling Mike how to hold his hand as he threw the ball to put a spin on it and it worked on the wii!!

We walked one mile this morning, to the corrals and back. 

As we walked by the 7th Day Adventist Church, they were setting up to hand out commodities and it reminded me of an old photo we found taken back in the 40's in St. Johns.  Some things haven't changed.

lettuce leaf, laughing cow cheese, peppered turkey lunch meat,
sprouts and pistachios.  Roll it up and eat. 

We took Andy's trailer that John has been remodeling back to Andy this afternoon.  We went the long way and stopped in St. Johns to visit Mom and check out the lift for Mabel.  Jessie showed us her report card, she has a 3.0 grade average.  Josh also got his and got good grades, too!  Way to go guys!  Wish I'd thought to get a picture of them with their report cards!

we saw some deer right next to the road!!  It can be scary driving
through here at night!  This year we've seen more elk and deer
along this stretch than ever before.  Wonder if the fire destroyed
food and they are having to scatter farther?

Wow, look at those roots!  The peas are ready to plant tomorrow.
