Cold and Breezy

Burr, it was a cold and breezy day.  We walked this morning, but the wind was picking up so we turned around at the corrals.  The wind was against us on the way home and it was cold and hard walking!

We turned around at a tree just past the corrals.

My greenhouse is doing great, it creaks when the wind is blowing, but is holding together well, so far. I'll feel better when it has one season of spring winds behind it!

The green beans and peas are growing!
My cucumbers are up!

The bear is getting close to finished.  The front is almost done and the back just needs a few more rows of spikes.  John lowered it to the ground today, it was getting too high for him to reach to weld.

Lowering the bear to the floor.
The back of the bear.

John is also working on a cute little hand crank bike for Chase, the son of our tax preparer.  It's looking cute.  Chase is only 3 years old and had a stroke about a year ago and came so close to dieing.  He has limited use of his right arm but has started raising it recently so John was thinking that maybe a hand cranked bike would be fun for him and get him to use that arm.  It's amazing how a child's brain can heal and repair itself.
